New PSC Faculty Accomplishments!

-Dr. Susan McCarthy’s article, titled “Sinicizing China’s World Muslim City: Spatial Politics, National Narratives, and Ethnoreligious Assimilation in the PRC”, has been published online in the distinguished Comparative Studies in Society and History and will appear in the January 2025 print edition.

-Additionally, Dr. Adam Myers has received an invitation to lecture at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy in March, where he will present insights from his book manuscript, Coordination Failure: State Taxation and National Response from the New Deal to Today, currently undergoing peer review at the prestigious Oxford University Press.

-Last but certainly not least, Dr. Zachariah Wheeler’s article, “The Emerging Democratic Majority: New Class Divisions and the Meritocratic Left”, has been accepted for publication in New Political Science, where his review of Jamie Woodcock’s Marx at the Arcade will also appear soon. We commend Dr. McCarthy, Dr. Myers, and Dr. Wheeler for their contributions to the field and for continuing to represent Providence College with excellence.
