Brief Biography:
Daniel Banini holds a PhD in Security Studies from the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs at the University of Central Florida, an MA in Peace Studies from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, and a BA in Political Science. His research focuses on the intersection of security, conflict processes, and African politics, with ongoing projects examining the localized impacts of climate change on farmer-herder interactions in West Africa. Additionally, his work broadly assesses African politics, exploring issues like corruption, state legitimacy, and the influence of trust, infrastructure development, and patriarchy on political attitudes across the continent.
